40 lifts and cable cars and over 200 km of best prepared pistes make Ischgl a Mecca for skiers and snowboarders. The Arena connects Ischgl with the Swiss duty-free area zone of Samnaun. The main ski area is situated at a height of between 2,000 m and 2,872 m and assures reliable snow conditions from the end of November to the beginning of May. Ischgl/Samnaun was voted one of the top ten ski areas in the Alps of 176 skiing centres.

Ischgl offers walkers and hikers around 300 km of hiking paths and 18 Alpine and mountain huts around Ischgl the mountains and valleys of the Silvretta, the Samnaun group and the Verwall. |
